When cb arrives, can you train/buy a flying creature?Or will you only be able to do that in the final game?It would be great to fly around and such thing =)!

Planeshift is still in pre-Alpha; we probably won\'t see flying creatures for probably another year or so (my guess).  Flying is one of those things that is rather neat, but most people would like to see things like combat and magic implemented first.

But it is coming....

Yes i\'d love to see the basics first

(more cities)
(combat)
(more quests)
(more races)
etc etc

Lol this game might blow FFXI away :P

actually in my opinion...the quests and races can wait. Combat is the important thing. A new city would be cool, but it wouldn\'t be my top priority.

Adding new features is all well and good, but in my opinion, it\'s nothing without content.

I\'d rather have many things to do and only one way to doing it, rather than one thing to do and many ways of doing it.

Well if you could choose between a few new quests or combat...what would you choose? I would choose combat definately. Im not saying I dont like quests, not at all.

Quest are already implanted. I think there will be quest+combat. Maybe the quest wont be in when CB comes out, but  they can add them later. Yes, combat is the main thing  :D Quests just make everything 100x more fun.
A new day, a new failure!

Well, I\'m just concerned that we\'ll have loads of features in the game, but little actual content. Some of the best games I\'ve played don\'t really have many different aspects to them, but the size of their maps, the attention to detail, the sheer number of items and quests can keep you occupied and having fun for hours.

I\'d hope the devs will create plenty of content for the game, to compliment the features it promises for future versions.

i agree with supersponge in 1 way, it will blow FFXI away, but thats mainly because 1, its free, 2. its got good graphics for a free MMORPG, and everything planned so far is just like a P2P MMORPG

and mogura, many things to do and 1 way of doing it gets boring after awhile but yes i see where your coming from, but i\'d rather have bother many things to do and many ways to do each one, even if its like 2+ ways of doing a single thing, i like a good storyline too, as well as a good combat/magic system, and plenty of quests, items, equipment, magic spells, skills, ect. and its always nice to have alot of cities so you can make more quests, more monsters, and such

Heh since half of this is already off topic i thought i would add to the chaos!! lol Well Hopefully they wont JUST add combat cus look at pristontale. Its fun for a while but after it gets boring cus its ONLY combat. And while priston tale is still in beta (yeah thats what i said, look it up!) lots of things still need to be implemented before people just dont pay attention to the game anymore. I have heard lots of \"P2P mmorpg\" flying around posts on lots of message boards lately and frankly i dont see what all the excitement is about player to player capabilities but whatever you keep getting all hyped up about it and blow your colon out just thinking about it. So in short sure combat is important but it shouldnt be the ONLY thing to do. I would just LOOOVE to bake a cake after slaying Goblin #300,000,001 !!! :P

ya i know what u mean, i player PT, and it got boring REAL fast, and i hated how you couldnt get skills/spells till lvl 10 or something, mages arent made for melee/range combat, THEIR MADE FOR MAGIC, lol sorry bout that but its true, battle mages are made for both but still im pure mage and i hate it when games do something as stupid as PT with spells and skills, and i also dont like how they have nothing to do :(

ok that was all about PT and things i hate about it :D but anyways i know PS isnt gonna turn out anywhere close, cause since its open-sourced, im sure the players will have some control in what happends to the game other then through suggestions and constant spam

*points to himself and lets out an evil chuckle*
