You can explore the town you can collect rubies and you can enjoy the great community or you can wait for the next release which will hopefully be out in the next few months where more will be added. Please check some of the many other posts that have asked the exact same thing. Best way to find something is to

You find rubies by exploring!! You can usually find them behind houses, or down in the dungeon..

also...join a guild...make yourself know, it makes the game alot better.
