ya, i\'d love this game so much more if u can talk to most NPCs like up above and u\'d get different reactions out of them

I apologize if this has been said before, but...

Perhaps if your walk around with a wielded weapon, some NPCs are definately going to get suspicious. They might take you for a visit to the prison, that just happens to be several (game) years. Anyway, that would certainly remove all those open swords, axes, and whatnot from the streets, in any case, if only out of respect for the law. If there is one.  Anyway, this idea, in my opinion, is realistic, as people are usually suspicious if somebody is walking around, with a sword in their hand. Unless it\'s a guard.
You pay the same price for doing something halfway as for doing it completely. So you might as well do it completely.

ya, that\'d be nice, but how about each town has a set of rules for their type of culture, such as if a town was based off of friendly folk who hate fighting, then if u have ur weapon out then ur gonna get arrested

but lets say if i went to a town without this rule cause it was based off of neutral or war-like ppl, then maybe someone would come up (depending on lvl and stats) and challenge you to a duel, some harmless others to the death, and u wont get sent to prison by carrying a weapon, but there should be more guards cause with weapons showing is bound to be thieves lurking around to takem (even if it wasnt the one on hand)

but maybe there should be a couple of towns there they only like certain ppl with certain types of weapons, such as if u have equiped a sword or another melee weapon, and walk into town ur tagged as a melee user in that town, and so if they LIKE melee users they\'ll welcome u, otherwhyys they\'d despise u and make things more expensive and give u rude responses

i.e.: a magic user walks into town with his magic staff equiped, the town favors magic users, and so he goes to the nearest inn for a quick rest, the cost was reduced abit more then in normal towns, then the magic user goes to the nearest magic shop to buy a new staff/wand/orb/ect., they\'re sold abit more expensive but are much better then what are at a normal town\'s magic shop

i.e.2: a melee user walks into a town with his sword equiped, the town favors range users, and this char goes to the inn and is charged more then a normal town inn would charge, he then goes to the nearest blacksmith, all the weapons are much more expensive and are mainly comprised of ranged weapons, with 1-3 melee weapons for the other ppl, this char walks out and goes to a magic shop to see if they have healing pots, them and a magic user\'s weapon is charged much higher then normal

as u can tell this could be VERY handy for finding better things then other towns but having to travel through tough-easy environments depending on lvl (usualy made for the higher up ppl) but even so a melee/range/magic based town has more things for the type of character they favor then the others

and once u enter a town (close enough for the guards to identify u like a monster) you are considered a type of character from whatever u got equiped (out or not), if u havnt got anything equiped, ur favored as melee because of fist fights, if u switch weapons while in town to get things cheaper, it wouldnt work, until u made a new character and had him/her go there

NOTE: if u go into a range based town with a bow and ur melee just to get a weapon u see, all magic/melee based weapons will not be sold TO you because they assume u dont favor those type of weapons

if anyone has questions, agrees with me or doesnt like something, tell me, if u dont like it change it to ur liking and tell us

For keyword triggered attack I think it would probably only be possible if you said something you\'re not supposed to, or if you know something you\'re not supposed to.

Lets assume basilisk eggs are illegal to own/buy/make etc.
PC:hello
NPC wizard tower gaurd: move along, I have no time for small talk with citizens
PC: where do you keep the basilisk\'s eggs?
(the NPC may outright confront you, or quietly summon -using NPC telepathy;)- a couple gaurds to drag you away and question you)

Situations like this could probably be avoided by using common sense. If you went up to a cop and starting asking where you could buy drugs, you\'d probably be in a bit of trouble.

maybe or it could start by looking for if its a what, who, when, how, can, ect. and also look for the other keywords that way it can tell if it was ment to be bad or not

such as if they make it so anytime u type in how, when, what, who or so, he\'ll say somethin like that it\'ll get ya in trouble if u keep stickin ur nose in it or something depending on what ur askin about (bad or good keyword)

if its like can then yes it\'d be more like asking a cop for drugs

but we\'ll see what they plan to do if they actually do any of this

what if after you\'ve been arrested NPC\'s even referred to you as \"thief\" that would be kinda cool!  \"Its like they know!\"
