One of my friends saw me playing Runescape, and showed me this game back in January. The amazingly superior graphichs and setting kept me interested until I got a chance to rebuild my computer in May(the old one couldn\'t possibly handle it). It was the first thing I installed after the drivers.

I found it on torrentreactor, it was the game with the most seeds, so I looked for it in google, then d/l it.

Search Engine 8 months ago... I didn\'t really get into it much though.  I am now trying to get into it again and spent 4 hours last night playing.... it was great!

was browsing games on mininova and this had about 8,000 seeds. the next closest had about 124. Seemed like it had to be a hell of a game and it is.

...I am a Mac user. I don\'t use my machine for games(generally).
I checked the -games listings on the OS X download site. It seemed interesting. I try a lot of freeware...but never a game...

this great...and*sigh* addictive...

I was discussing MMORPGs with some gaming buddies. I told them that i rarely have tried them because of subscriptions and so forth.  I decided to google \"free MMORPG\" and found this one.

Ten minutes later I had downloaded the client from torrent.  One day later client updated..all hell breaks loose :)

I pretty much have spent every waking hour since then playing or checking the server status.  I read the player manual and the bulk of the informative threads ahead of time and was quite pleased at how prepared I was for the game.  I was forced to ask 2-3 newb questions and get some help for mining location at the magic shop, but other than that it has been very easy to adapt.

This game has ruined me and I am officially an addict.  I had no idea they were this fun and I\'ve enjoyed meeting many of you online already.  I\'ve been at it 4-5 days now and I can\'t imagine what life was like pre-PS.  lol.

I am currently debating whether to tell my buddies about this game or keep it to myself.  I am afraid the role-playing will suffer if people I know already IRL, are in the game with me.

/me thinks how ironic
I've been outside, it's overrated and the graphics suck!

A Search engine, in my case.

This friend of mine has just recently turned to MMORPGs and was curious to know what was on the Net that was free. We both got together and spent a whole night just looking through search engines and such, and taking sneak peeks at several more promising games.

Both he and I ended up creating characters for PS, but while I am here to stay (for the time being, at least), he seems to be on the verge of dropping his character here and instead going for Project Entropia with his heart and soul. I can\'t say I blame him. If I had a credit card (which I don\'t have, and if you find that strange, don\'t; it\'s not all *that* uncommon over here) I might now be over at Project entropia instead of here.

It just looks *so* nifty  8)

But alas, you guys are stuck with me  :P

I found out about this game about 3 years ago. I\'ve been very curious about the open source community then, and especially the gaming sector. PS is a wonderful example of a community working towards a goal.

I haven\'t played the game in several years, but I eagerly check back on the PS site for new developments. I was an avid Star Wars Galaxies player, and now play WoW, but that does not mean I will turn my back on PS. I will be logging in again soon to give it a go! :)
