How big this game is going to be? 100Mb or 200Mb or more?

Current experiments with making the release (they are working on this) indicates it will probably be about 25Megs. In the future it will most likely be a lot bigger as more art is added and so on.

Jorrit is the leader of Crystal Space, which is another open source project like Planeshift, only its purpose is to build a 3d engine which can be used by games like ours.  Many many projects are using his engine, including us. :-)

We are lucky because Jorrit believes that due to Planeshift\'s size and complexity, it is an excellent stress test for his engine.  He assists us on almost a daily basis with the game and even customizes Crystal Space with features needed by PS.

So be nice to him.  ;-)

Btw, I am the one currently working on the actual installation program for Windows for you guys.  Today I did actually get the installation working correctly and I can tell you definitively that at this moment the installation program is 25,045KB.

It may change somewhat between now and when we release it (very soon), but it will be in that ballpark.
