Well i heard it would take about 5 years to add al the features mentioned on the site into PlaneShift.. so i asked myself: wouldn\'t it be better to ask a one time fee to play planeshift (just buy the game in a box for about 50 dollars/euro\'s) i dont really care to pay 50 bux for a game like planeshift the only thin i REALLY hate are monthly fees and i think most players dont like them.. if you would ask a one time fee you will be able to put in some pro programmers, this will make the project be finished much faster (mayb a year?)

OK OK, i know its your intention to make the game free, but i think a MMORPG with the features planeshift has is still FREE if you only ask a one time fee to purchase the game in a box... Dont think much ppl have problems with it but mayb im wrong:)

Planeshift is not a company, they are individual people...so there is nothing to send the money to, and, their based on being a free mmorpg...so it would not make people happy.

jesus christ suck it up man. there have been people waiting here since july of 2002. just wait like the rest of us. crystal blue should be at least 1/3 of what the full game will be as far as features.It will give us something to do untill the next release when they probally delete our players again cus thres a level 99 draklar and a level 79 xordan running around.

It must be hard for everyone to fully understand that the devs really do mean they\'re going to create a free MMORPG. I\'m sure Vengeance would appreciate any contributions to the \"Pay Venge\'s Rent Fund\", but that isn\'t going to get him any more free time in which to work on PS.

Money is not an issue here, and never was. The developers work on the project in their free time, and money does not buy time. It also undermines the very reason why many of them are such loyal, hardworking members of the team, because they have an objective with this- to create the greatest, free MMORPG out there- and believe they can make it happen.

Personally, I wouldn\'t mind paying a one off fee. But there isn\'t anyone to pay it too..... Well, u could give me all u\'r money, I\'ll find a good place to keep it ready for a time where planeshift is owned by Bill Gates, and he\'s charging for it. :rolleyes:

well in theory money COULD help the team in they could hire a full time professional artists, not that the current devs arent professional they just are working on other things. if the team could raise enough money they could hire some full time artists to help them. But i dont know they can figure it out themselves.
