I was wondering what everyone is doing in PlaneShift since there is no attacking as of now?  What can you do?  Can you get items as in weapons?  Please help.

You\'re correct in that there aren\'t really any features to PS yet, as its only a pre-alpha tech demo.  However, there\'s already quite a community established, in which most (if not all) regulars participate in.

You can acquire items, yes.  In order to get an item, you must look for crystals on the ground all throughout town, then redeem them here: http://planeshift.fragnetics.com/merchant

Remember, there\'s more to RPGs than combat and leveling.

I got someone to take me on a tour through the city today.  Others joined us and it was quite fun. Isn\'t that what role-playing is all about?

Although there isn\'t much more to do right now I\'ll visit regularly. Consider it an incredibly advanced chat-room.

You can\'t crouch.  To pick up a crystal, you right click on it, then click the hand on the menu that pops-up.

One of the coolest things to do in the game so far is Hide and seek.   usally the hider will offer a gem as a reward (but not needed).    

I was thinking of trying to start a new thing.   Multiple points Hide and seek.   You hide several Neutral people (the targets) and then  have everyone that is going to hunt spawn.. yell go.   You get  1 point per target found.. the winner is the person with the most points.  You could do this as a team thing also.

Another version might be one team hides and the ohter team gets  5mins to try and greet as many of the other team as possible.   Counting the points for the targets found.

Just some thoughts on new ways to keep us busy for now.
