Full wipe would be the most equalling, but letting oldbies have some of their crystals is good too(a show of appreciation). And I mean some - I\'d cap it at a certain amount.

I think dedicated players should at least keep their name, but that was discussed already... right?
is there some way you devs check how much time players spend?  for example, everyone who spent 100 hours playing this and above will get to keep their name, other\'s  NO

maybe we should all get super cool crystals for being oldies in the game. that way when this is a kick ass full game noobies will be like \"aww how come you have that awesome crystal?\" and then when the noobs get pretty good with lots of money we can sell the crystals for like 100,000,000 tria..

ok, now you just contradicted your self, you want a wipe so that it is an equal playing ground, and yet you are lobbying that preexisting people get stuff no one will have at the time.  

i\'m fine with a wipe, but not just because the playing feild needs to be evened up.

There is a total whipe... good. Now all the old players get a special item that has no value and cannot be sold / traded, so that way it is no benefit, but just a cool thing to have that not many people will.

I personally think it\'s a good idea since it\'ll also allow bugs that would normally be found later in game to be found earlier.
Some people (that refer to themselves in 3rd person) seem to have forgotten that we\'re all alpha/beta testers.

not really waste time because we enjoyed ourself? Also we met new people! So what are we keeping or getting i want something!

You are one of the worst beta testers i have ever seen. Beta testing is supposed to be enjoyable not because you will get something in return but because the developers are allowing you to see a game years in advance and help mold it into a wonderfull game. Beta testing is a privilage not a right nor a reward from doing something. You have dont nothing to earn the right to play this game and your expecting something in return? And you will even go so far as to call it a waste of time. You sicken me with your selfish wanting and childlike way of explaining what you find as your morals. Everyday i am glad i get to beta test a game like planeshift and everyday I am thankfull for what the devs are doing, but at the same time I am disgusted at the selfish greed, and childish ways of some of the beta testers here on this forum. Treating the devs more like slaves than friends and in my oppinion saviors is what they should be recognized. Saviors developing a jewel in a land of coal that is mmorpgs. And what makes this jewel even brighter is that it cost not one cent. So if you feel you should be getting something in return you \"time\" why dont you go complain to Everquest and see what they give you?

Well, you used the word Beta a lot... the game is not even beta man. I heard that the devs put a lot of thought on how to do this without getting people too upset and this is the way they found

yes i am aware of that. check the post i posted numerous times there. but anyways i throw around the word beta becase alpha usually implies somthing before a tech demo IMHO
