Yet another n00b...

Last night, had a friend for a sleepover....we played LOTR:ROTK game for xbox till we beat it.....played almost all night and day...the b4 he left we talked about a game we could play online...(my friend was a hardcore EverQuest gamer) and he said he was waiting for World Of Worcraft.....ofcourse i didnt agree with him coz it has a damn monthly fee (unlike u guys..)..so i went onto google without any hope anytyped in \"Free MMORPG\" and this beaty came up. We checked out the pics and it looked to good to be true...wrong. Anyway (shortening my life story here ) i read the whole site, and did a little bit of reasrch on wat chracter i ould be...i decided to go for a Klyros (a spell caster/pets). It was all good until 2day we got the game, and instaled everything perfect....until...i saw u cant pick Klyros....so i picked another class just as a test...but couldnt test it coz it lags every 5 secs coz of my REALLY bad comp...

ANYWAY .....the main question is...when the version with Klyros comes out...can i delete my old character and use the name for the new one..and what happenes to all my items aquired b4 that?

(PS: plz dont go flaming at me, i am only a 2 day old n00b to PS )

Nobody know when the next version will come out, and probabely your char will be erased, but you will keep your name.

If you keep asking thing like this, we will flame you. Just read the (newbie) FAQ and use the search function.

heh i went to a friends place and did similar to that but we played 6 player halo instead of lotr
and like you i found this game when i got home straight afterwards (major coincidence huh?)
i personally wanted to be the dermorian (sp?) and was a little dissapointed that it was a tech demo
but i have played so many games while in beta only to have to pay for the monthly fee several months later but this one looks the most promissing
im planning on playing through the life of this game (hope i dont find a better mmorpg but do)

i suggest you read all the stickies then start building up your crystal collection then making a few friends ingame

yeh already talked to a few pplz, good to see that the community is very freindly

yeh i have a lot of major commitments coming up, so i wont be on too much, but whenever i get a chance, ill pop in...(i dont get addicted to games easy, but this is damn addictive.)

world of warcraft looks really good, im gona play this game and if i can go from now til the release of wow without getting bored, im sticking with this.

meh, this will probably own it. all it is going to have is very good marketing and advertising coz of the movie sucsess.

But anyway, it will probably have a HUGE monthly fee, so ill stick with this.
