suggestions and thigns to think about

Dear planeshift staff,
you\'re doing a great job. If you ever plan on adding another race or races, a centaur-like race would be good, also, some things to think about on the winged character, will it be able to fly, or are the wings purely ornamental? if it can fly how will the flying system be done?
just some thoughts from a player with to much time on his hands, Auterus.

A flying character would be nice, but it might be too nice. Soon, everyone will be the flyers because of that great advantage of travel, unless they have serious weight penalties on carrying equipment.

I think the devs plan on having creatures that fly that you can also ride.

Thankfully the best armour, spider silk armor, is also some of the lightest in Yliakum - Go Klyros!

Actually i expect the spider silk armor to be quite heavy. think about it if you wove spider silk into a form that would give you any sort of protection it would be quite heavy. at least 30 pounds i would say. And yes thats a heavily equated estimate. Even if spidersilk is the strongest weight to strength ration its still only natural. Being woven so closely as to make physical armor would make it wiegh very very much. But it would still be strong. But dont expect the kylos to wear them and be able to fly. that would just be unfair although there are supposed to be some MAJOR restrictions on this.

Now i will begin flaming this thread for its lack of intelligence and spam like structure. PEOPLE stop posting on new races. the races they have in mind are CONCRETE. they will NOT be changed EVER. Some might be taken away but im so SURE that no new ones will be added so stop posting these generic stupid boring playable races you have for ideas. At least post something like A blob that takes a humanoid form and is basically the opposite of the kran or something. Maybe ill just start a thread for it. and since we have a new member on the dev team who makes the folklore of PS (sorry i forgot your name bud) im sure he could weave them into the lore pretty well. Though im VERY sure that none of the races that are posted will even be considered into the planeshift lore.

I don\'t think Klyros flying is really that good. I mean ya duh, everyone would be flying and make the \"sky\" full of junk. At best I think they should be able to hover. During that hovering period, they can be temporarily have resistance to earth magic \"brown way.\" Since while in hover mode they dont\' touch the ground.

I dont see any problem with being able to hover at all. maybe have \"short bursts of strength\" spell or potions that allow the kylos to fly for an extended time maybe. but at the same time hovering for wizards should be in the long run. The wizard should have better stats for a hover spell while the klyos just lets you do it SO much sooner.
