well, whemy, under your system, what would the difference between an official and non-official guild? You\'re explaining a lot of it away just by saying \"Yeah but they could just not be official\".

my system is very easy to understand. make an unnoficial guild. once it gains momentum and you have a good number of members, say 100 or more then the devs notice you. if your morals and objectives are unique and they feel you are worthy you are an official guild with lots of responsibilities and lots of things are solved. end

That\'s very different from what you said before.

But what makes an official guild different from an unnoficial one?

no it isnt. also your driving this post in circles but i will answer you anyways. if your official you can make modified weapons (in another post) and other stuff which i said earlier in a post stuff i dont feel like explaining right now. but they would be things like making contests and be active with the devs to discuss what should be improved in the ps world. maybe there could even be a council of the guilds to discuss feuds and laws and crap...

Yeah, I agree with you there, that\'s how I thought it was going to be, but doesn\'t look like it

They had a system to set up official guilds.  You had to submit information and such to the devs and they would decide whether to make your guild or not.  But seeing as how you can actually create a guild in game already I guess they scratched that idea.

As for the alliance thing.  I disagree with it.  New guilds will and should come along.  We can\'t say that just because we were here first we should be the only one allowed.  But you do what you want.  The DE (One of the oldest in PS) won\'t be in it.

NO!! YOUR STILL WRONG :P! look if the developers choose which guilds would be official and gave them special things like customizable weapons the game would be alot cleaner and things would go alot more smoother.

people wouldnt have to find information on an unknown guild that has 3 members. i consider that spaming. making a guild becase your guild is stupid and wont listen to you is wrong. the developers should make a limited number of official guild and make the guild leaders listen and consider its member\'s imput.

people whining and starting a guild cus they hate one little thing. if you dont like how your guild is running and they dont listen to you, fine get out of it right then. but if you start a little group with a couple of your friends and its kinda like a gang or a permentant party then thats totally cool. But then you shouldnt expect to gain the same power as some of the guilds that have been working thier asses off for years!

Thats dumb, unfair, and retarded. Obviously if a guild survives 3 years, its survived for a reason. They are obviously doing something right and you stealing power just because you have a little disagreement is wrong.

My threads for future reference isnt for discouraging new guilds. I in fact want people to make guilds, but wanting them to be on the same level as a huge guild as soon as you start is selfish and dumb. Thats why guilds should have to be official.

im not sure who the \"devs\" are im guessing that short for developers? anyways  why should the devs monitar what guilds are made i mean its a good experience to try somthing new i mean if it doesnt work you fail but you can still learn somthing of the things that went wrong and what went right. i mean let people who want to create them create them i mean they could have great ideas that would surpass the older guilds but eventually the older guilds would find out what they were doing and could start doing it themselves.  so really in this since you are punishing the new players for wanting to do as the oldies did eh russian?

no maybe i didnt explain myself clearly or explain things enough but i certainly never changed my ideas at all.. :P

and sir fishy, the devs have every right to do anything with their game and this post is to signify that i think they should keep all the power, they deserve it when they make free game they allow you to test (before beta i may add) for no reason.

It\'s quite simple.  Those guilds that are pointless will die out.  The guilds that are dedictaed and have a clear objective will last and even if they are new guilds, those are the kinds of guilds that are worth being around.

didnt this post start out proving that it doesnt that way all the time. other games with guilds are running amuck with new guilds taht are powerfull but only have 4 people. they are powerfull cus they steal ideas. this is dumb and we should find a way to prevent it.

As others have mentioned, I think we should just remove all the warning labels from commercial products and let the problem handle itself.
