I would be honored to take of the role of leader/council member of the Mercenary Guild. I think the council is a good idea, and if we make one, Icefalcon will definately be on it.

Begone from this thread all those guilds greedy for members. The Mercenary Guild will remain strong, following the path that Zephyrus hath laid down for us. We shall not foresake his dream, for his dream is also ours.

Whatever happens, the Mercenaries will remain strong. We will not submit to this trivial bump in the long bloody road we have chosen to fortune.

--If I am chosen, I will need help from people like Icefalcon and anybody else, because I have little experience with webpages/hosting junk.

Well, i hate to see Zeph leave the throne, so this is what i came up with:

The highest position in the guilds higherarchy (cant spell) will be split into two. The council that will controll the guild. And the \"superintendant\".

The councill will consist of the trusted members, such as Falcon, Jaxan, me, ect.

And the \"superintendant\" will be Zeph. He will be like an icon of the guild that actualy holds little power (unless he wants to come back). His main purpuse will be just to check up on us every so often and make sure we dont phuk up the guild... Sorta like the Queen of England and Tony Blair type of thing...

How about something like that???

gaining an extra 20 members straight off would be a great asset to any other guild, but i advise not to just split up or join another guild because the creator/leader wants to step down, what kind of guild is this??

simply elect a new leader from some of the older members of the guild and we will put a poll on our forums to decide it.

i also like vodka\'s idea...

I have to disagree LockStock, I certainly would not want to gain 20 members I\'d never heard of in the guild I\'m in :P

But yeah, good luck new leader whoever you may be :)

I beleive I speak for all the defenders in aplauding your plans to rebuild your guild instead of disblanding or seeking external leadership. A council would be a very good leadership, it is also what we will be using now that we are without draklar.

You found an new leader and I think that is probabely the best solution for you.

My proposal to join was only meant for in the case you couldn\'t find anyone:

I had a go at making a CMS that would have made it a piece of cake to upadate the site, but as it is the quickest/easiest way is frontpage, and the site is relatively easy to operate, even changing the buttons on that javascript dropdown menu is relatively easy... so you want to try having a council of leaders?

In that case i have a few questions about the mechanics of the game;

1. can i promote someone to level 9 hierarchy?
2. can they then invite new players?

If not then i will disband the guild and let Jaxan recreate it, i.e. so that he is the level 9 guy.

who should i be sending the site to?

correct me if I\'m wrong but if you make guild of builders/crafters, you recruit builders/crafters...
what do you need warriors for? for defense? from what? Aren\'t you fully neutral guild?

Yes, we need warriors for defence, who else would defend us if not ourselves? Defence from theives, and guilds that might think of us as a good way to get money by fighting us. I know it\'s lame, but we do need to have some defences...

If BloodClaw needs defences, then you can hire the Mercenary Guild when you need them.  ;)

If we rebuild, could you send me the html files of the site so I can put them on some other domain?
Perhaps in CB the guild system will work different, so if we can\'t have more than one level 9 person right now, we don\'t have to totally abandon the idea.

Also, I think we should name our spy/assassination/infiltration branch \"The West Wind\" in honor of Zephyrus.
