anyways, I did the graphics(layout, forums skin, logo etc.), Elscouta did the coding(the whole library, the members script, the popup windows, etc) and Tepsu\'s right, all he did was delay us

If you want to join the Arcane Order, you must obey to our rules and all members with a higher rank than you.
You must be a mage, but you may practice other skills,
such as thievery or swordfighting, as long as you are using magics.
If you obey the above, come to our IRC channel (#arcaneorder @ irc.quakenet.org)
and talk to one of the councilmembers in there.If you don\'t know how to use IRC
or can\'t figure it out for yourself, we probably don\'t want you in our guild anyways.
You will be asked some questions before you can join the guild, so make sure you have done the following things:
Write a small story about your character wich includes your race and job.
Read and understand the newbie guides, the planeshift website and the arcane order website.

Sounds a little harsh now, doesnt it?
Knowledge how to use irc is not necessary to join the Order, just post on our forums and we can make an appointment to meet in-game (if you can get it running).
If you dont know how to use irc but want to participate in our channel there are tutorials either on the irc-clients page (MIRC  for windows users) or on the forums for your favourite flavor of linux

Hehe, in your post, it sounds like Planeshift is easier to install than mIRC

but it\'s sure that if you are able to install Planeshift Molecular Blue and get it running without any external help, you\'d probably be welcome in the Arcane Order, even if you don\'t use IRC.

well, it\'s true if you really can\'t get mIRC running(wich is pretty easy ), we probably don\'t want you in our guild

However, I installed a java applet so you can connect to our channel without installing anything(how much easier can it get?), so just use that and have patience when trying to talk to the councilmembers. just because we\'re logged in, doesn\'t mean we\'re actually talking.
