Well, it\'s that time again.  The time when you are reminded why the guilds forum is so turbulent...

Today, less than thirty minutes ago, I was granted soveriegnty over the Rangers Guild.  You see, Grakrim and Seperot have grown weary of being in the Guild.  Some crazy antics have caused some problems with the guild name as well.  So, one of those strange moments in history when all that can be said is that no one knows the future has just occured, right here.  Now I know this may seem sudden, but inactivity and lack of guild forums has degraded the life of the guild.  That which was bright now grows slowly dimmer.

Now obviously I enjoyed our governing system and wish to continue it as such.

All guild Alliances and Friendships will remain, of course.

In other news, We are now recruiting.

Thank You,
Monketh.

 :)

[edit: ] This is the new Rangers thread, btw

:diamond: Joining Reqiurements

More nastyness from Lynx
(Even though it is rational  )

First, ask yourself, \"How long do I think I will stay in Planeshift?\"
If you are going to be active in forums only, such as I have been, go ahead.
If you are going to be active in-game only, go ahead.
If you are going to be active in both, excellent! Go ahead.
If you are going to go inactive after 2 weeks or so...

1. To Join you Should...
A.Have 50r worth of crystals, and at least 10
B.Show 7 spawning sites
C.Show how to climb a building
D.Tell how to enable mouse look
E.Go in the temple and come out within 15 minutes (Dungeon Run)
F.Have at least a basic understanding of what RP is... (Not too strict on this)
1.2.Exceptions
A. If you can\'t run Planeshift, you can get in based solely on your merit and RP skills during Part 2

Part 2 is an interview.
Part 2 is undisclosed atm, since it\'s the questions

The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

Why are people so damn pessimistic about leadership changes? This isn\'t even a leadership change, just a narrowing.

First of all, I love the Rangers.  Since the latter days of LW when Monk, Sep, and I decided to break off and form the Rangers, I\'ve always thought of the guild as my (among other\'s) child.  For this reason, it was difficult for me to retire from the Rangers, but its something that I felt I needed to do.  I thank Monketh for carrying on in the legacy of the Rangers Guild by continuing to lead.

Good luck Monketh and the Rangers, may you prosper in whatever you do!

Good luck with your new position, Monketh! Hope you don\'t lose too many members or anything like that, you should be a good leader.

I am also leaving the guild. Rangers without Seppie doesn\'t feel as comfy as it once was... :( I\'m sorry. Maybe if I had been closer to the other members of the guild apart from Sep and Grakrim, I would\'ve stayed, but I don\'t feel there is anything left for me in the Rangers Guild now.

Now a fresh start comes for us all, eh? :)

I speak only the truth my son.

If I hadn\'t put it there my post would have sounded too sincere....and you know I can\'t do that.  Not me.  Besides...it\'s true isn\'t it?
