Given that Planeshift is a game and a game aims to give fun, i don\'t see why being crazy is bad as long as we provide and have fun. And i don\'t think that a lots of people thought that Rangers were completely crazy. Maybe a little crazy but more fun than crazy.

What i wanted to say is that Rangers was (and i hope will still be) a guild were you had fun and i don\'t see the reasons why they left (according to the irc log). Probably i have missed something and as i said before it\'s useless to try to judge the past.

ok, it is kinda bad, but that\'s not the point
oh, PS is a roleplaying game, and the aim of roleplaying game is to roleplay ;) had to point that out :P

the reason why they left were the Rangers boards... ?(
I know that makes no sense...

Sure it makes sense. We were dead on irc and rarely played, so the main contact was through the forums where we developed the guild(or tried :S). So when we lost the forum for a whole month that was too much and IM couldn\'t keep the life anymore. ;)

Just a note, Drak.  You keep saying the reason we left was the boards, but I can honestly say that was not my reasoning.

First, ask yourself, \"How long do I think I will stay in Planeshift?\"
If you are going to be active in forums only, such as I have been, go ahead.
If you are going to be active in-game only, go ahead.
If you are going to be active in both, excellent! Go ahead.
If you are going to go inactive after 2 weeks or so...

1. To Join you Should...
  A.Have 50r worth of crystals,  and at least 10
  B.Show 7 spawning sites
  C.Show how to climb a building
  D.Tell how to enable mouse look
  E.Go in the temple and come out within 15 minutes (Dungeon Run)
  F.Have at least a basic understanding of what RP is...  (Not too strict on this)
1.2.Exceptions
  A. If you can\'t run Planeshift, you can get in based solely on your merit and RP skills during Part 2

Part 2 is an interview.
Part 2 is undisclosed atm, since it\'s the questions

If you know 10 spawning sites but only have 10 crystals, you\'ve seriously have been doing something wrong :P

within 30 mins? i can walk in and out the temple in less then 1 minute(less then 5 seconds if it wasn\'t for the lag :P), shouldn\'t you change this to: \"Be able to go in the well in the temple and come out within 10mins\" :rolleyes:

And how much of a RPer are you can \"save\" you, if u don\'t meet the upper basics(like for people that can\'t run PS atm).

And the crystals routine is even better on the inside. 8)  :P
