Please ban the following

This is my first post in the forums, and unfortunately, its a shame it has to be about requesting a ban on my fellow players.  (im not sure if this is in the right place, if not then please move to appropriate location)

There were (possibly 15-30 minutes ago) a couple of abusive players who after being warned repeatedly to stop, continued to threaten and disturb loyal rule-followers.   I refuse to let PlaneShift degrade into a breeding place of racist propaganda, hatred, and vulgar language.

If there is a way to punish these acts, I would surely consider banning the following players:

Blunderbore
BabyHitler
Ryosukai
Gregeth

I have several screenshots of their abusive behavior if needed.







I have a couple more screenshots if needed for further proof.

I don\'t like being the \"tattle-tell\" and making posts such as this, but I don\'t believe the loyal players of PS should have to deal with people who have such a disregard for common decency.

Please do something about this.

cmon dont be a baby about it. its just immature people getting thier kicks. it doesnt even matter really. i dont anything wrong or unusual about the language really. and the fact that this isnt really proof because you have edited the back grounds so how do we know you didnt edit the whole thing to make you look good... pictures lie....

I seriously doubt this guy has gone to such extent just to get a couple of people banned..

If they were using language like that, and worse yet, spamming the place, they deserve to get banned..

but if they don\'t show up again, which they hopefully wont, there\'s no use to go to the trouble of banning anyone..

Everyone that was there agrees with me.  

BTW the backgrounds are not edited.  I was just inside the statue (trying to glitch to the top)

At the moment we don\'t have the ability to ban people but we can take steps.  The later versions will feature bans/mutes/kicks.  For now all I can suggest is getting on IRC and looking for myself and I can manually kick them.  I agree with Jehoel here.  People like that have no place in our game and we will do what we can to ensure that.

There has been more people in the game like this, but I guess you can\'t do much about them ATM, there will be many functions in the next release to prevent these sort of things, like GM\'s, /mute, /ignore, /kick and /ban commands.. Although I do think that there should be done something about playernames like \"hitlerbaby\" etc.

whemyfield, please shut up.. your post really makes no sense at all.. the background isn\'t editedl, that\'s just how it looks like when you stand inside the statue.. and if you don\'t think anything is wrong with names like \"hitlerbaby\", people shouting \"NAZIS!\" etc. good for you, but many _normal_ people are offended by this..

Don\'t take offense to stuff and whoever it is will have nothing to come back to except collecting crystals, which obviously isn\'t their goal...seriously, their not harming you in any way by yelling words at you through the internet, although I agree they should be banned...but since they can\'t...

And if you are  offended by something it doesn\'t give you the right to break the rules. (this to post above mine)

Well, your best bet is to ignore people like this and when we have the next release you can just petition a GM and he/she can take any steps needed.

Ban them indefinently and without warning.  It\'s those kind of people that ruin online games.  And if possible ban their ips.

Will you stop making personal attacks towards me? Your freakin horrible at it and you try to make them all the time. But i have never made a personal attack towards you or many other people (except Davis :P) Seriously you suck at it, leave it alone.

And a second thing, when have people on this forum turned into such a baby. that kinda stuff has been going on for months now, no reason to start pouting about it now... Yes i think there should be actions to stop things like this in crystal blue, but theres no reason to just ban people for yellling stuf like that in game. what ever happened to just ingnoring them youself and not relying on some cool little button that does it for you. Grow a spine people.

I think just about everyone is a veteran of people yelling things like this all over different mmorpgs, get used to it already. hopefully this wont be in crystal blue but we seem to say it alot. if it is still present in CB, oh well. Those are just going to be the unpopular people who get yelled at all the time and dont do anything in game and consequently have no fun. but banning them for doing this once or twice with little or no consequence before hand is wrong.

you cant just ban people out of the blue for doing something they have only once or never been punished for. that is like beating a 9 year old senseless for stealing from a store for the first time. and last time i heard beating a child senseless is worse than stealing...

So just ignore them people. i do it all the time and i think you all would be good at it by now after posting on this forum :). these people have some serious issues or whatnot to work out, but we cant ban them for doing it once or twice. The world of mmorpgs has had this happen an infinate amount of times multiplied by another nfinate amount of times. Its actually quite entertaining to watch sometimes. SO GET USED TO IT... Jebus Christ...
