this is my newest:
It took so long because I had to change and draw so much of it.  I know its not completely realistic, but I got tired of editing it.  I also made it into a nice PS Crystal Blue Advertisement, as it makes me really want combat using sweet weapons.

*This is definitely not a real advertisement for crystal blue, and if the Mods would like me to remove the advertisement from the picture, just let me know. I have the plain picture without all the PS CB stuff.

Well Sinon,
to be straight forward, it was your art that inspired me to try (and your original idea, as you were the first to use the trepor in ss art).  I don\'t doubt that you could create things I\'ve never imagined, as you already have.  Thanks for the inspiration, and I look forward to seeing more of your work!

hehe, funny what you\'re doing with this Trepor.
BTW the body doesn\'t looks like that in real :)

Also, you should use a sharpen filter on your bow (you\'ll see it will fit better with the character who\'s lacking of antialiasing).

You should also consider shadows. Even if there are no shadows in the original sshot you can create some for characters and trepor. Will increase a lot realism.

You can also change the hue of the trepor to something with a bit more blue (an additional layer in overlay mode could be perfect)

Oh and I think you could also remove the outer glow you put on the bow and arrow

nice work!

Edit: here is how I see some improvement. Hope it help.

heh, Thanks for all the improvements and advice!  I thought I had done a rather good job on that pic until you cleaned it up and made it look really cool.  Hopefully I\'ll be able to do as nice of artwork as the PS team soon.  I\'ll continue working to increase my skills.
Thanks again Djaggernaut.

Yeah it looks great.

And the bow is good too, although the origin might me immoral and the extra material obstructive for use.

Just one note on Trepors: Even Djagernaught said the body is different, but look at the head! Ergo, the beast must be big. If it wasn\'t the devs would surely post the whole pic.

After hours of work, and 45 layers of photoshop, I\'ve come up with this neat little picture.
I call it:

The Calm before the Storm; The death of the king.

I am really dissappointed in my armor, but I had to attempt it to make the picture I was imagining.

Oh yeah, just looking at these pics makes me shiver with joy at the thought of the combat in CB.

P.S. Yes, that was a compliment.
