« on: February 04, 2004, 12:19:02 pm »
I have a \"not so good\" computer.AMD Duron 1ghz overclocked to 1.2mhz.ATI Rage Graphic Card. The game is running so slowly for me like at the rate of less than 1fps.I tried setting the highest resolution and the lowest but they were as slow. Can anyone tell me what top do?

How much RAM do you have? PS uses as much as 200mb RAM in some cases. It may be that you simply don\'t have enough.

Then again, PS lags for everybody. It\'s due to buggy code, not your specs. :)

Yeah, you could do with some more RAM. If you\'re using WinXP, then even more so. WinXP takes up just as much as PlaneShift. :P

Also worth noting, the game doesn\'t seem to like Radeon cards. That may be contributing to your problem.

There\'s not much you can do about it for now. :( You can search the forums for a lag fix, but the results may not add up to much. I\'d advise you just wait for the next version, Crystal Blue, as many problems will hopefully be fixed by then. :)
