it also sucks to know that the PS community went down the drain... people used to be nice and friendly when i first started playing and then I come back to the game and this is what i find... a bunch of people who tell me to \"stfu n00b\".  I guess with time and publicity you start attracting the scum bags that sit around forums and talk junk to people.  Why don\'t we try to encourage people and not put them down? :)

Yeah, it\'s gone down the drains, not in the way you think though.

Anyways, you joining was in fact the main point of the thread, seeing as the \"recruitment\" part was only a little over a sentence long...yeah, I wonder how we got that idea...I\'m just pointing this out, don\'t get pissed over it.

And with publicity, you attract people who make useless posts...and encouraging that brings more useless posts.

I would say that over the past year, the forums haven\'t changed at all with perhaps the exception of a) one less Link and b) one more Mogura

There\'s no reason why someone should be harassed just because he made a post announcing that he\'s joined or re-joined a guild.  Comments like \"stfu n00b\" may or may not be in jest, but they certainly can offend people, especially if they take them the wrong way.

Communication isn\'t necessarily what you say, it\'s what the other person hears.

Uhhhh What???  Is there something I missed here?  I mean, the people who complain about useless posts are the ones that write most of em.  Btw, welcome back Teknotic!

And, since when does Axsyrus take orders from the Cabal??

The fact is, most people who use the forum and don\'t go in the game often (and since he was inactive I guess some of those who DO go in the game often even), have no idea who the hell Teknotic is...so therefore, we do not care. I\'m just curious why people post their lives when it has nothing to do with anything.  If you want people to join your guild, you tell them things about it! Not \"join me guild, it\'s super cool!\"

Those are, in fact, HUGE changes in the forum...and it has changed a lot more then that, just not that noticeable.  In a year though?  Mogura hasn\'t even been around a year and I don\'t remember when Link was banned...I can\'t imagine nothing happend in half a year, certainly it looks it to me...I have no idea when you started reading the forums so I\'ll make no assumptions, that\'s just my opinion.

And Levski, I haven\'t made a thread in a long time...and it\'s the fact their allowed that bothers me most.

hmm, well it\'s true.... this was a completly useless and pointless post.... as I couldn\'t care less if the guy played or not... I\'m sure many others share this feeling... so \'stfu n00b\' was quite the perfect expression.... (as I told him to do it 8) )

p.s. told ye all this was gonna turn into flame war of the year... watch it ignite. :D :P

Yea you were right about that Xordan.  But one thing is for sure, Blitzers don\'t really need an advertising page, considering there are at least 5 on at a time most of the time :].

Ehem... close but no cigar... but numbers doesn\'t matter, its the idea of the Blitzers that made me want to be in it.  It\'s a very honorable guild.

Off Topic: It would be stupid to ask you how many are in the Cabal wouldnt it? So I guess I won\'t...

(Ok, im waiting for the flames :()

The ideas you mean? And Kiern, I\'m sorry if I was wrong when I said that.

This is just my opinion about the Guild, as Bora, our guildleader, asked, we must show that this our own opinion.

Here are some quotes from the Blitzers webpage... Afterwards I\'ll write what I think they mean.

Quote
The guild is built for our members. We will watch over our newest members and help anyway we can.

The guild does not place ideology over people.  All guildmembers care for each and every one of the other guildmembers. Together we work toward common goals, and try to work for the good of the guild.

Quote
If we must fight, we will - but war is such a tragic thing... we don\'t need it.

This shows that the Blitzers do not wish to be overly aggressive, yet if put into a corner, there is no way that the Blitzers will surrender.

These are just a few that caught my eye.  The other factor was the magnitude of spirit that all Blitzers whom I met possesed.  There was really no choice when I asked myself which guild I wanted to be in.

Did you make that up, or get it somewhere? That quote is awesome!
