well i like traditions so i would choose my real-life nation\'s traditionas weapons:

The compsite bow (please include that please ) and the sabre.

I mean if they managed to rule whole europe with that two it may be just enough for me in the game

I think I will go for using a Sword, unless they allow some kind of Mages\' weapon that impoves magic.  My reason: swords have a faster attack rate.

In another thread where we got to design our own weapons, I designed the best one ever, that is very affordable.  This massive-damage-dealing weapon is so good that I could not resist using it.  The weapon you ask? It is the Text Book.

I will master the art of the sword, and strike down upon my foes with graceful, powerful, slashes of the Two Handed Double Edged Longsword, and i will not use a shield as it hinders movement and takes up one hand, blocking with a single sword works just as good as two swords or a shield if you have quick enough reflexes, strength, and skill, and also you can break through an opponents block with a powerful enough slash...

My main character will specialize in knives and will have them at the ready within city limits and in the seedy parts of the world.  They will also be used in missions related to the underworld side of things.  However, against large creatures or if in a large battle on open terrain, I also plan to be at least competent in the way of very large axes.  I don\'t think daggers would stand up very well against someone wearing plate armour, or a creature with a very thick hide or shell.  My character isn\'t primarily a warrior or fighter however, so he will always be at some disadvantage.
