Well, ok, imho its spam.  You, of course, are entitled to your own opinions.

In my humble opinion.......... and how sane is a question which can involve literally millions of computers?  Not to mention all the ram found in stores and warehouses?

No need to get technical.  Her question is rather how much does ram cost within a general range in the USA; perfectly sane.

Sorry then........... I thought you meant how much ram there was in the USA, not how much it costs.

/me grumbles an apology

I would advise getting DDR ram instead of SDR, which is cheaper.  DDR, where I live, costs about 50 dollars for 256mb.

Hope i didnt get on your nerves too much :)

Well this all depends.  Very few motherboards support both SD or DDR, and you can\'t mix and match SD & DDR even if it does support both.  Basically have to get the same type your computer already has.

Anyway, back to the point.  SD is older, slower and more expensive... But still around $50 USD for 256MB.  DDR is a bit less, probobly round $40 for the same size.

Ahh, I tried mixing and matching...... ruined a good piece of ram too :(.  But DDR is cheaper than SDR?  Ive always seen the opposite....

Levski and Aidan: Don\'t whine about spam if you\'re going to fill half a thread with it yourself.
