Torture Devices
« on: February 15, 2004, 05:37:18 am »
Okay i just thought up an intreasting idea...what if we had like divices to torture people with like if apposing guilds wounded someone they could torture the characters for information...also if that would work they could capture an npc that might have had/lived were the guild is located so you could torture him for information on what the guild has been up to...for devices i would think the one that makes ya taller or being cut and stabbed would work to or better yet a guietien(spell?) though that would probubly kill them before you got anything out of them...But if this is a bad idea feel free to Flame me i always loved a good flameing... And i did use the search button before writing this so you cant flame me for that hahahaha  :P

it would with no doubt be a good idea. But think how complicated it will be, all the circumstances would be make it very hard to be fair and balanced correctly.
My name is NOT pronounced, \"Kway-per,\" it\'s pronounced \"Kye-per.\"

a guiatine chops off someones head... how would you get information then? lol

But anyways i dont think that torture devices are a good idea. good for rping sure, but these arent practical and cant work in a real situation, unless if your caught you have to put your finger in the nearest electrical socket at your house, but thats impractical :P

The only way I see it is that after you\'d been tortured for so long, how long depending on your physical strength and will, a chat box would come up on your screen, and you can\'t do anything else but type, or something like that anyway. I still don\'t think it would work. Oh,  by the way, you illiterates, it\'s spelled \"guillotine\"

is guillotine even a torture device? I mean it\'s just -woosh- and there we go, a headless body :P
Now to file one\'s teeth... ah yes, that\'s more fun...
just look as he passes out and dies in the great pain :]
anyway, maybe this wouldn\'t be so practical, but it sure would be nice to see thy enemy being tortured...

Hmm... maybe it\'s the wrestling kind of guillotine;):

For those of you who\'ve never wrestled, a guillotine really feels like your head\'s going to snap off.

This could be a cool idea in a pvp area. If you capture someone and put them on \"the rack,\" their charisma/strength/etc go down (not permanently, but long enough to make it a pain). There would only be a certain amount of abuse that you\'re allowed to dish out before you have to let the dude go, otherwise people could keep players captured for extended periods of time (I don\'t like that idea).
