Klyaksa's 3D Moddels
« on: February 19, 2004, 03:10:16 am »
Hey people, these are my first couple of pics....

This is my very first one, its a sword that took about 20 mins to make...

----------------------------

This is my axe, took about 5mins to make, and about 2 mins to skin...

----------------------------------

And my flail, which im still working on... im still not done...

-----------------------------

What do you think people???

If the files seem of poor quality, thats because i had to switch them to JPEG so they wouldnt take up to much webspace...

Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.

Not bad. :) You say you skinned the axe...? It looks flat shaded to me. Like the characters/models in Final Fantasy 7. Not skinned, just given a colour and some shading. Anyways, keep it up! :)

Very nice.  I like the flail the most, very good.  The sword blade and the axe look a bit too thick though.

Only n00bs don't quote themselves...

if you put as much effort into your sword and axe as you did with your flail you would have some pretty good looking weapons

I finished the mace... but whenever i try to take a pic of it, the program crashes.... If you people wana see it, maby i can email the Wings3d file with the mace, and you can post it here?

Good work Klyaska. Especially the mace. I don\'t know what you\'ve done with the finished version, but I would recommend making some of the spikes partially broken off to give the appearance of being battle-worn. Very cool. Keep practicing.

try a program  called \"easy screen capture\"  to take pictures of anything on your desktop.  the 3d program won\'t be affected that way

good work by the way!

If you are looking for a free screen capture program ScreenPrint32 works pretty well also. Just do a google search for it and should be a bunch of llinks to download it.
