Why won't you work anymore PS?
« on: February 19, 2004, 11:56:09 pm »
I can\'t get planshift to work anymore, it was working almost flawlessly after i updated my driver for probly a week and then it wouldnt work. I re-downloaded and re-installed the game and then it worked again for about another week or maybe a few days and then wouldn\'t again. I tried reinstalling and redownloading againt but to no avail, it still wont work.

Any advice? i certainly hope so.

the error is \"psclient.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvinience.\"

and then it has the \"send error report\" and \"Don\'t Send\" buttons like many errors on xp.

When does this error occur?

Have you installed any other drivers recently that could be causing the error?

What does it say in the \'more details\' link?

There\'s no more details button, theres a \"click here\" to see what data this error report contains link thought and that say

 AppName: psclient.exe   AppVer: 0.0.0.0

ModName: rapid.dll   ModVer: 0.97.0.0 Offset: 00004723

then it goes on to say how they will keep my info confidential and says that they are recording the program and my comp. stats.

I updated my driver because the game was superlaggy and after that it worked great but now it wont work anymore for no reason that i can see. I\'ve seen some similiar but not exact same threads like this but i decided i should post this to get my problem hopefully fixed.

Rapid.dll... saw another thread about that a while ago too. I\'m afraid I don\'t know anything about this error, but you could try searching for that other thread and seeing if the person was able to resolve the problem.

I personally have never heard of a Rapid.dll...  Do you know what program uses rapid.dll?  I believe its a rapid reviewer program, but the basic Windows XP rapid reviewer is Kernal32
