New ranged weapon

Boomerangs are a great idea. A chakrim is what Zena throws. Chakra or \'the chakra\' is related to spiritual maters.

A chakrim is a disc with a hole in the center of it, which is sharpened on both the inside and the out or just the out. It was fired at the opponent either as a Frisbee is thrown today or by spinning it around a stick/finger and releasing it at the opponent. I hear that both of these methods take a great deal of practice.
My favorite is the traditional spin sling, which can hurl rocks or stones at a target with speeds greater than one hundred miles per hour ( > 163.9344KPH).

To the idea of yo-yos as weapons ... May I add a little something about it ? Ancient Phinekian soldiers used it as their weapon ... And they gave hell aot of troubles to their enemies with it .. As far as I know ...

 In game it could be one handed , low demmage weapon , but with high spead and distance ... I mean yo-yos arn\'t ranged weapons ... It should be melle weapon with a long distance , like spear or halbert ...


 To boomerang\'s idea : Boomerang is a good idea , but it\'s a game and there is no need to make a realistick phisicks in it ... Wel , I mean it should be , but it should be turned in a favor of gameplay and interest ... It would be wise to make a probability of weapon , not returning to you ...For example if you\'re a low level with it , there could be a good chance of weapon , falling near the target , after it would hit him ... or just falling on the ground withoutof hitting mob

And there should be no dammege after weapon returned ...

This made me think of the Predator\'s disc weapon in Predator 2 and the games.  The boomarang could be \"magicly enchanted to always return to its owner. Though your skill in throwing could determine whether you can chatch it without hurting yourself.  When you throw your boomarang, you throw your weapon so you can wait for it to return or bring out another weapon.  Of course the boomerang will always return to you so if you have another weapon drawn, you have a penalty to your chance of catching it, so you\'re more likely to hurt yourself, or if you are holding a two-handed sword(or sword and shield) you have pretty much a no chance of catching it and you\'ll end up severly hurting yourself.

hello i have a new idea for a ranged weapon,its based on bamboo shoots that anceint people once used to blow posion darts out of.


apperance: a long wooden tube that shoots small posionus darts out of one end,more expensive versions of this weapon could be crafted out of metals and the darts and poisons used would be obviously more powerful,maybe even elite dartsmen could fire multiple darts at once out of the same bamboo shoot

\"yo-yos\" don\'t have to be kids toys.  Put a few blades on a large, heavy yo-yo and perhaps make the \"string\" have some sharp bits and it would be a truly nasty, entangling weapon.

Yo-Yos can be used as weapons.
Take a fan for example. If you use razors to make it, it becomes a deadly weapon (yes, it was used as a weapon).
For crying out loud, people even used rice bags as weapons! Even Fishes!!
So I cannot see why a Yo-Yo would be childish. Think again. String --> Chokes person. Heavy yoyo --> Knocks down. Doesn\'t sound childish to me

ok saying theres some huge creature to fight....be realistic,a yo yo  cant do anything to it.

realism is something alot of people like to see in games,even fantasy games where nothing is really real,im sorry but i cant see how a yo-yo can have any effect on any type of creature,u stick blades on a yo-yo in real life,go upto a turtle and see if u can hurt it....not very likely,so immagine a huge ogre or something,with a massive club.....and u have a tiny toy as a weapon,pathetic.

so in real life if u cant kill any creature with a yo-yo expect maybe ants and snails...how are u might to kill any large creature? and weapons in any mmo are taken from the ideas of real weapons,and no man in history was stupid enough to go into battle with a yo-yo.

and im not prepeared to reply to desperate yo-yo geeks who are just about to make up some story of a yo-yo weilding warrior in real life cuz theres no way its true,the closest thing to a yo-yo in battle was a flail,and thats nothing like a yo-yo,but its the closest thing u\'ll get to one.

picture your self spinning a yo-yo up and down....then picture a huge ogre infront of u or dragon,and u hit it with this yo-yo.....its gunna laugh at u.

and another thing a \"large heavey\" yo-yo wouldnt be able to spin off the string into the enemy,it\'d fall straight to the floor,more than likely hitting urself in the leg.
some one also posted on havin a yo-yo that entangles,u mean wraps around the target? ...whats that gunna do to an armoured target or even an unarmoured target,it\'d jus wrap around them like it does to a metal pipe,they\'d grab it with one hand so u cant attack no more,then stab u with the other hand...game over.

The whole point of Yo-Yos was that they ambushed, so you didn\'t know someone was there until you\'re on the ground with the brains leaking out of your skull.

And out of Yo-Yos originated the.......... bolus. A thrown weapon when, used correctly,  it  tripped your target. It works better if your target is running.

I would like to see them implement that!

yo-yo\'s are toys and ive got and had some of the best MMO\'s that are on the market and i also play some beta\'s and none are stupid enough to put yo-yo\'s in there game,it takes maturity out of the game,it\'d make me feel like im playing a kids game.

Do you have a little brother? Have you EVER been hit in the head by a Yo-Yo?  Also, you can spin a heavy yo-yo, since you know so much, shouldn\'t you study some physics? Bolus? So that is the name for that little thingy? Well, that helped people to kill their enemies many times. Fans are weapons, Yo-Yos are weapons, for crying out loud, books are weapons! Even rice bags! Or dead bodies! What about cows?!?!? You probably won\'t see Yo-Yos in the human history simply because it was not a weapon made to be used in battlefields. You don\'t see a spy using a warhammer either! The Yo-Yo string really was used to strangulated people.Why don\'t YOU go read some history? Prisioners would kill each other with pencils, people would literally thrown diseased people inside enemie\'s castles, even poo was used to kill people (poison).

About the mmorpgs you played... they did not include a character system that involved skills instead of levels right? Nor the developers would hear the community members this much, or would they? These games would probably demand that you played hours and hours, just to keep competitive?? And you paid for that? Was there any roleplay? Were these mmorpgs different from each other? Were the people of these mmorpgs as rude as you are? How many types of weapons were there? Which mmorpgs?
What you call the best I might think as the worst ones, so better know which ones you are talking about...
Also, maybe they would not know how to implement it.
