Wow! Kintall. :) Your work is very beautiful. The latest sketch you posted just above here reminds me of the Final Fantasy character Auron. Does he have spider eyes, or is that some kind of techy equipment?

Thanks, yeah he does have a nice high collar, I first fell in love with high collars of that sort with Vincent from FF VII, as for the glasses they are supposed to be mechanical, and multi lensed, and him personaly. Well dont laugh bu he\'s a half hedgehog ninja sherrif vampire hunter :) I know, it gets even better in context, or should that be worse... :)

Eh, I tried that, it doesnt have the same effect. I was talking about the magic in his hand. Im trying to do something and thats exacly how I want the light to fade...how did you do it?!

okiedokie chickens heres Kintalls Uber cheap \"glowy\" shtuff tute :)

step one, on a separate layer from your background draw some random squigglies, for more detailed light effectiethings just make the suqigles more detailed



then use a radial blur, (zoom) and make it as string as it gets and do it a few times, (if the thing you want to blur isnt in the center of the frame make it the centre of a selection, like the circle selector)



then either Hue/saturation it till its the right colour or use the colour verlay in blending properties, and the colour on the edges is made with outer glow



simple and easy :) as allways questions and comments on works both new and old are more than welcome

Now that I look back in the thread, I see that kintall has indeed become quite a lot better, especially when it comes to colouring and other photoshop-related issues IMO.
BTW, that yellow chick has no waiste.  8o

I am in the land of Uninspired, I fear my abilitys arent wanted on the PS team.

 Talad hasnt asked me to do anything for ages, he has my email, so yeah I think that there are very set ideas on how things will be.

but its Talads game, not mine and I can see why he wants his vision to be exactly as he wanted it to be.

after all the work hes put into it  it is his  right alone to decide what style of contribution he wants, so yeah if he decides to email me I\'l gladly work up a storm but yeah. I think he wants something more \"traditional\" and thats fine. it is after all a very definate dungeons and dragons style of thing and there are very limited scope of things available with in that framework. I am not saying in any way that this is a bad thing I merely am expressing regret that my chosen style it seems isnt quite compatible with that framework. I could of corse be completely wrong and talads just lost my email.. but then my email is available through this forum thread so what is a poor scribbler to do?
