I am English. I live in the city of York, one of the largest tourist cities on the planet and drowned in history.

We also have archaic laws, like its legal to shoot a scotsman with a bow and arrow on a sunday from the bar walls if he is wearing a kilt. My body count is so far 0... but I am working on it.

York still has a lot of medieval architecture, so I can look at games like planeshift and just see how wholey inaccurately we romanticise the past... Nevermind though, I mean 99% of people may have lived in absoloute destitute poverty, but hey paladins and there racist crusades are cool.

The humiliation... being defeated by a bunch of belgians. How we could ever sink lower... Losing of the english, okay that we can coop with. Having to surrender to the french ah well too bad... But losing of belgians.....???? Naturally that part of our national history isn\'t taught much. Like most isn\'t except our war against the spanish.
