Finally finished a new monster, but to say the truth, I don\'t like it so much. Drawing is okay, the outlines are smoother than last time, fur textur doesn\'t look so bad, but the monter itself turn out quite boring...
It always bored me that every monster in nearly every game I played had to be uglier/scarier/misshapter than the other. But the try to do a some kind of \"good looking\" monster failed ^^ (Guess combinating a Lion with a long neck and a horse head, wasn\'t such a good idea -.-?)
Well, here is it, the Nimes:
The NimesDifficulty level: very difficult, perhaps group necessary to kill
Physical Attack: horns
Magical Attack: blue and white way
Nutrition: herbivorous (chokara-fruits)
Intelligance: high
Hitpoints: high
defence: medium to high
familysize: 3 to 5 individuals
loot: nimes\' horns
Descibtion:Nimes\' are peaceful giants wich lives together in small family groups. Isolated from humens or other races they affect steppes with high grass and chokara-trees. Grass and chokara-fruits are also their main foodsource, nimes\' are never attacking animals or humans if not attacked first. You can come very close to them without danger to be attacked.
They are highly intelligance and have an average sozial structur in their pack. Due to the fact that nimes\' have very short legs they never flee when attacked, instead they prefer to fight close together. Packmembers support each other using healing spells. Nimes rarely use physical attacks, they mainly use blue and white magic to beat their enemies.
A single person attacking a nimes\' family has no chance to win. A greater group of skilled hunters is necessery to bring a nimes\' pack down - and it is worth the danger. Nimes\' horns are used as rare ingredients in potions, and they can be sold at a very high price.
It is always boring hunting down monsters alone, and monsters rarly work together. I guess nimes\' hunt can be quite interesting and highly lucrativ, if someone can stand it killing some peaceful but strong aninals.
