A few suggestions
« on: February 29, 2004, 07:40:34 pm »
Hi.

I really would say that the following things should get changed:

The chars really should run faster! It is too slowly i think.
And the times running much too fast in contrast to the chars. :)

GUI: It looks a bit bleak, i dont understand the funktion of the target window. You should be able to chat by press return. And after twice press i think the focus should return to the game and shouldnt stay at the chat window.
I noticed that the chat window doesnt diplays the end of the text alyways. The scrollbar is anywhere else as at the end.

I dont know if the game has a third person view, but if not, it should get it.

Running speed is fine, but I would like to press return to chat, it is kinda annoying to have to click on the chat window to chat. And there is a 3rd person view, but it would be alot better if the camera was fixed behind the char, it would make moving areoun in the 3rd person view MUCH easier.

If you don\'t know that the game has third-person view, you need to read a little more about the game before you give suggestions. It generally has better results.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Crystal Blue will offer several different improved camera angles.  The gui is 100% redone and it looks better and is much more functional.  You can hit ( or any key you set it to ) to start chatting.

Well, it is, just press M again :D

1: First Person View
2: Free View (you can move the camera freely around your character)
3: 3rd Person View: The Camera turns as your character turns.

Mundus:

You can switch with TAB between the chat and the game. Sometimes you have to press it twice to work.

Target window: It shows the person you targeted (right click to target a character)

Running speed: hmm, concerning your other questions, did you press shift :P

I think the running speed is ok. I mean, sure, the Enks maybe should be able to run a bit faster, and the dwarves a bit slower, but it\'s not a biggie. And I\'m really looking forward to the animals and the new gui.

I know that the target window shows the name and nothing but the name of your target. I think it should provide a bit more information about the target. :)

Still my opinion is, that the time passes much to fast!
I really would like to see it changed! :D

I\'m assuming that speed will be decided from your body development level. A super fit dwarf should easily be able to outrun a enkidukai who sits in a chair all day eating fatty foods.
