I was reading the planeshift history and the base of the whole religion dealing with the realm. I got wondering why so few (if any?) of the current guilds formed are not involved with this great history. I mean, how many guilds worship Talad and support his name? And dont forget our pizza-faced Laanx. (The cabal even created their own religion with their guild) It would be nice to see more religion-based guilds. It would be fun too to see both the increased role-playing participation and war outbreaks from this.

If your guild does worship a god, especially one of the aforementioned gods, please declare your alliance here. And form some rivalries for rp\'s sake!

Speaking of which, will there be any plans for npc guilds or alliances that players can join?

Religion sounds good, but not with the present 2 gods. For me, they are just too tainted and ph-ly.

Maybe when we get to know the whole panteon, which isn\'t likely or at least Vodul...

I\'d love to see Guilds that are truely connected to the PlaneShift world. Whether that be in Religion or somehow involved in the history of the storyline, it\'d be great to see people RPing together with a real purpose. After all, players and Guilds are supposed to be helping the story move on and leave their own mark on the world, so that newcomers in the future read about a real history, that truely happened, and the players who were involved in it can feel mightily proud of their accomplishments.

I see this far, far in the future however. Right now, we don\'t have enough of a world or a storyline to really step into the pages and leave some history behind us. It\'ll be possible... one day... But untill then, crumpets taste much better with massive amounts of butter.

The Arcane Order has(will have) a great history involving Laanx and Talad, some wars etc.

One of our members is working on completing it now. Morgus started with it a while back so we already have most of it.. we\'ll post a message here when it\'s finished.

Whemyfield used to have a guild called The Light of Laanx. It didn\'t work out, apparantly. Interesting that after that, he would play a diaboli.

Good point Olig. And it would comfort you to know that I have been on the case for sometime now. Once Talad is dead and his divine essence scattered through the planes ,I\'ll grab his throne, create a Dark pantheon of my own and make worship mandatory and Human sacrifices legal.

Well I already kicked Laanx outta the temple and took over it.

But OT, It would be good to see guilds more connected to religion.  but right now we really don\'t know enough about the gods to really make that kind of decision.

Gods?

The Gods are all around. You just need to go out and find them. Pick them up and cash them in later for some real salvation. They come in three lovely colors: ruby, emerald and blue/white.
