Ships and other vehicles

what about ships? You can travel over the sea\'s with it, you can buy your own ship and be the captain of it :P You could have pirates that will attackother ships etc.
Have no idea if it is possible :/

I doubt there will be ships. Magic portals will most likely provide for transport across water.

Will we have a sea? The PS world is underground (though if you can have underground lakes, I guess you could have an underground sea)

 How will the magic portal work? What if your not a mage and can\'t work it? I think we should have a NPC working the portals, and we would have to pay to use them, unless you have enough magic skill and you could use them yourself of course.

I wouldn\'t mind being admiral of a fleet of ships :) Imagine 5 great vessels lined up around the coast of a city, leaving it in ashes..awww its heart warming! :D

Until of course I jump on ur ship and slit ur throat for ruining my rose garden :P  But yeah I wouldnt mind the ship idea (a nice little Man-O-WAR would suit me just fine) but, if it is too big and will make the game take much longer until it is done then well, forget it

Am I the only one who remembers that there\'s going to be air transport? Wouldn\'t that negate the need for ships? I mean, there\'s only lakes as far as I read, and you\'ve like, got people who live IN the lakes, so ships just totally wouldn\'t fit. It needs to be something more unique, like Elscouta suggested, a sea animal or something.

Planes are common...yet we still you freights and all sorts of other ships...besides, there is a fisherman profession....unless you\'re underwater spearfishing, or fishing off the shore, you\'d probably want a boat...

Edit: speaking of which: does anyone have a general idea on  how much a megaras is going to cost? do you think it will be comparable to a pterasaur, or a lot less?

magaras is going to be  ery expensive, read the setting, only one aloud per major guild.

uummmm...but it says the same thing for pterasaur...I was just wondering about the pricing in comparison...sounds like they take less care to preserve...so they\'d be cheaper...
