The dungeon is cool
« on: March 12, 2004, 04:18:20 am »
I explored the dungeon and came out
on top of the tower ...

the devs had the foresight to put a ladder at the fence on the basement  :-)

kudos to all who modeled the dungeon (and the city of course)

here is a screenshot:

actually AFAIK the entire dungeon is modeled and textured by the same person (Boonet).

And yeah I also like the dungeon.  :))

The happy days of a newbie :] :P

It\'s actually not that special to get on top of the tower, or out of the dungeon.. it\'s fun to make it through on the first time though ^^

Boonet did a really nice job on the dungeon, makes you wonder what more they have planned for CB, all those other people working on it now :D

PS. getting out of town isn\'t that special either ;)

Yeah wait until you start jumping around on roofs... :P

First time I got on the big wall I started singing something about being king of the castle. Next aim: The top of the Temple. No clue fow to do that though. Hmm maybe skydome.

Anyway well done and feel proud: You got out of the dungeon :D

Given the complexity of the city and the dungeon, and since the CrystalSpace Engine is based on the BSP technic, it becomes plausible why PlaneShift places a whopping 150 MB footprint in RAM.

Hint: Don\'t play it under WinXP with 256 MB main memory.  :-(

It\'s good to see New people around discovering the beautiful ways of Planeshift,

Me myself I took about 3 hours to find out the way out of the Dungeon, but now I know pretty much every route in the dungeon :D

So keep on exploring and gain knowledge before CB comes out. You\'ll have a great advantage then!
