That means they could already have the new site done and waiting offline, or it could be months before cb is released. Not fair!

This idea just dawned on me. Maybe they are doing all of this so secretly that once CB is released they will get massive reviews from magazines, websites, etc ?? meaning more sponsors, more players ?? seems to me that  this way everyone might benefit far more in the end. Anyway, the dev team has my full faith.

They\'re doing it so they\'ll get massive hits to their site by forcing poeple to constantly check if it\'s released.

I know that if I knew it was coming out in 2 months time I wouldn\'t log for 2 months.

I can?t nor wont deny the possibilities you have laid out, but I tend to be an optimist. Plus, I?m new here so I haven?t waited too long. Therefore, I still retain some of my sanity (although, I?m running short on supply).  I somehow feel (more like hope) we wont have to wait much longer.

The Devs have contributors and new people could join the team and some people might leave the team due to RL issues. No-one\'s bound with any contracts, like in commercial games, so an exact release date is hard to estimate and can change day to day. And that would be just frustrating for us. So they don\'t give us a date, and spare our frustration

Too bad they havnt released artwork but more of a surprise when CB comes out.

The game will never be finished. It will always be updated. As for CB, yes they probably do have some sort of target.
