Saints , Scions & Ascendants Pls read

While ----------- on moogies new guild thread this idea came to me !

lets have these special saints and two versions 1 for talad and another for his twin

starting with the Ascendants ( the good saints)
Aliathi praton of healing & Arcane lore ( maby u can change your guilds history moogie ? )
Ellema pratron of harvest & family
Naidir pratron of sailing & fighing
Gomar pratron of crafting and arts
Farifer pratron of animal tamers
Gundlk pratron of exploration
Katrena pratron of valour (paladins apply here)

and Scions ( the not so good saints)
Judek pratron of theives,Smugglers & Evil Merchants
Remus pratron of gamblers , treasure seekers and adventures
Costak pratron of Soldiers & Mercenaries
Covar Pratron of madmen Evokers & Arson
Tises pratron of Necromancy & Death
Soffk pratron of murderes and assasins
Drayce pratron of tryants & Corrupt Leaders(i know lots of gms will be praying to him )


so whatch think of it ?

Anyways, if you want to worship these gods, go ahead. But only Laanx, Talad and Vod?l are the official gods of the ps settings.

what about seraphs or ascension?

the idea that players after reaching a certain point in their \"life\" and after accumulating certain experiences players can \"ascend\" to a higher plane of existence.  still human.  but maybe like a seraph with different abilities.

im sort of stealing these ideas so i should give them some credit.  the seraph idea is from a game somewhat similar to this one but with much more rigid and unimaginative gameplay called the fourth coming (http://t4c.eacceleration.com)  im not really a big fan of the game but they have a cool idea within the game that players can \"seraph\" and as such have somewhat better stats and skills and can do more.

the ascension stuff is from stargate on scifi

i think praising gods is sort of a bad idea and wouldnt add much to the game.  just my opinion.  im not a fan of religion, belief structures and praying. i also dont see much potential to add to the game by praynig nto gods.

Well, while there may not be a direct benefit to your character by praying/worshipping a god(s) in the game, it can still be a part of the roleplay.  Remember, this *is* a roleplaying game, and not everything must be done for the sole purpose of making your character better.  There will likely be many things you will be able to do in PS that do nothing but help your RP your character, and help to build their character into something tangible.  That way you have something to do besides kill stuff all day.

And I\'m not exactly ascension would fit into PS very well.  I dont\' see how becoming a higher being and not being able to interfere with the world of mortals would help you very much...
