Central newbie introduction topic

I couldn\'t help notice the many greeting topics we newbies open to introduce ourselves.

Someone suggested to have a specific introduction section in this forum. For that purpose i took the initiative to open this topic .

Here any new people can introduce themselves and maybe tell something about who they are and how much experience they have. Please don\'t ask questions in this topic. Open a new one if you have any, but read my advice below first.

Before you open a new topic with a lot of questions that make you look silly search if anyone hasn\'t already given the answer.
First of all there is a FAQ, second Mogura has a nice list of 45 questions with answers (in this section of the forum). And there is also a search function to help you find earlier similair topics.
You will understand why this is so important when you follow up this advice. Mogura and others are very patient and nice in helping new people, i really appreciate and respect that. However the same questions are asked over and over again. Lets help them some work off their hands by only asking original questions.

Pheeew i have finally come to the part where i introduce myself. But first i would like to compliment the devs with the good work they have produced sofar? (something is wrong with this word).

Okay about me: like i said i am new here on planeshift. Though i sniffed around now and then i played the demo only once for about an hour.
My character is called Ijonas *duh*. Actually i wanted him to be called Ionas but the connection failed during the creation so i had to take another name. Ijonas is a lot like me wise intelligent etc. .
Just kidding but Ionas is a mage/battlemage on a search for knowledge and wisdom.
This is the first MMO game i\'m going to play, you should all feel very honored , so please have patience with me. In fact i never played a game with more than 2 players. But don\'t let that fool you, i do have experience playing games including the fantasy ones. And i like to read a good fantasy book. Of course i have other hobbies too.

Too conclude my yepping.... I hope to be seeing you all more often on planeshift whenever i have the time to come here.

I\'ll try to revive my Ionas char sometime. It doesn\'t really matter though, the chars get deleted in the cb version don\'t they?

And yes probably this topic doesnt help either. In fact i asked a couple of silly questions too. Like what is that red crystal called. But maybe just maybe newcomers open this topic first and look at the advice. Ah well probably not....

 I am new myself. Hoping to see a world of roleplaying here. Milafaer is my charector name to. I am enjoying the game so far, although I am having a tough time going from a text game to a grphic game. But soon I will be an old hand at it right?
