NOt sure if your guys know this or not but i read this articule http://www.linuxdevcenter.com/pub/a/linux/2003/10/16/nel.html
a while back.
Devs take a look and tell me what ya think. maybe you can take some features from the engine and port it over to PS.

This was already posted and lead to an endless argument about reinventing the wheel and stuff so i think devellopers are aware about this engine :P

PS devs don\'t develop their own engine. They use Crystal Space (http://crystal.sf.net. They don\'t plan to change engine for obvious reasons. Although, NeL does a lot more than just graphisms but using NeL features is still out of question. This will cost too much time to make the things work together.

Inspiration is another thing though that i can\'t really comment. This is one of the best thing in the Open Source but i don\'t know what are the relations of Crystal Space and Planeshift devs towards this engine.

I hope i didn\'t say mistakes - i\'m not a Planeshift develloper.

just some food for thought though. i did figure that it would be very difficult to add code directly but it can act as some sort of guideline for the future.
