yah gem collecting is a pain in the ass.... its just something to keep us busy while they work on the next update so we wont desert the game completely until the next version comes out.....

there was a small quest to see how the talk to the npc system worked, but that has been taken out of the game.

I heard that jewel makers needs crystals to make their jewels... so i think they will stay existing... you never go to search of them but if you see one you could pick it up and sell it to the jewel makers

The crystals we have now won\'t be in future releases. There will be crystals/gems, but they will probably be found when mining, or digging...

But aren\'t crystals the cash? I thought someone said something about that last night when I was on...

Mining for your cash would be a little much in my opinion... I think I\'d just end up as a thug, stealing cash for things if it turned out that way...

Currently, yes the crysatlas are \"cash\" to buy useless weapons...But in CB, they will be turned into tria, which is the real currency of PS, (See this )
