Nice models on those monsters.  I can see hydlaa got bigger as well. :D

The hills still look a bit square though, not to mention the dwarf killed himself repeatedly. :P
The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

My god, it was painful to watch the dwarf try to bash his own throat in... But other than that, everything looks great :D ...I hope we\'ll be able to keep up with all those menu items. They look... plentiful.

HARHARHAR   cool video. Release some more so we can start seeing some Planeshift music videos. :D

BTW- I was a little dissappointed to not see any fighting.
Beware that I am distorted in my wording if you do not understand me at all.

Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.

Just some more houses on the hills, otherwise Hydlaa seems mostly the same... there didn\'t seem to be any distance culling though... we gonna be able to fog things out in CB?  I never have had many performance issues, but I know rendering the whole town isn\'t very friendly to most people.  I dunno if it was just the compression, but the hills were ugly AND blurry, is there any mipmapping going on yet?

The skeletal animation shows up very clearly though, and the walk cycle looks vastly improved over the current ones.  The monster models look fantastic as well, and that looks like a nice shield too.  Is that a dwarf or a hobbit though?  Or do the dwarves in PS have thick-but-not-hairy feet?
Ninjas have feelings too.  Mostly they feel like dancing.

I thought acraig said it was MPEG-4 encoded, but when I checked it said it was encoded with DivX.

If you don\'t have the DivX codec installed, you won\'t be able to see the video (and the default Windows Media Player won\'t automatically download it for you).

If you need the codec:

Here for Windows (an executable to install just the codec, not their special \'player\')
Here for Mac (I think it\'s just the installer, but I\'m not sure)
Here for Linux (pretty sure it\'s just the codec)

Hope this helps :)

How I set my timezone:

ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Antarctica/Davis /etc/localtime

Hmm, sorry about that. When I converted the nuv that Crystal Space genereates ( mencoder crystal000.nuv -o my_movie.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=1600 ) I assumed that vcodec was mpeg4 :).

But yes, it should play in the free divx player. Thanks Xandria.
