only \"good\" hack n\' slash I\'ve played since diablo is Sacred.. and imo it is far superior to the latter..

I\'ve been playing Lineage II since the day the open beta came out.  So far it\'s been a great time.  I would reccomend it to anyone desparate for something to do before CB comes out.

The buy/sell options still need a little bit of tweaking, but the monster and PK options look like they are really well balanced and the quests are well designed.  The additon of 2 servers has helped immensely with being able to connect.

In conclusion, I would say that Lineage II would be a good diversion untill CB releases.

I\'m in the Closed Beta at the moment, and it\'s an awesome game. :) My favourite activity is just travelling out into a wide open plain, finding a herd of peaceful herbivores, and just being there with them... sometimes they approach me and sniff around to make sure I won\'t harm them. :)


that\'s how i imagined PS to be ...i surely hope there\'ll be something as nice as that in PS too :(

I hope that helps you guys out somewhat.  I know I got my serial through file planet and then got another one over a week later directly from Lineage.  Anyway, hope to see some of you all on Lineage.  I\'m a Dark Elf on Seighardt server, PM if you want to party or somtething.

This link leads to a serial number generator thing but when you hit the Submit button you\'re sent to the main page of FilePlanet. I could not see where the serial number was displayed if was one. I was logged in to File Planet too but didn\'t get an email, either. How\'d you see the serial number, Cyrandir?

Hmmmm.... You\'re right, they\'ve changed it!  I did get my serial from Fileplanet, but it looks as if that options isn\'t working anymore.... I\'m sorry guys.... :(

Played it for a few days, got to level 10.
The grinding in that game is the worst ever, all categories.
Maybe it get\'s better at higher levels, but I don\'t intend to level for hours on end to find out ;)

I played an elf, and my only friend that wanted to try it out played as an orc..

Oh well, if you\'re gonna play as an elf, let me know and I\'ll give you my old gear, if you play on Bartz that is.

This game is fun, But I definatly don\'t recommend playing  in a party until your at least lvl 15 and that might even be to small... At a low level you get absolutely no exp and barely any sp.  It is a fun game to just pass the time, and the graphics are pretty amazing.  The only other problem I have with it is all the friggin in store games taking up space so other people can\'t get in. I started on siegh server and the chances of getting on that at any point in the day seems to be very small...

 :D Actually, I have no clue yet what the deal is on the servers. Bartz - what\'s that?

I joined a new server, though, and it let\'s me right in. They added some more, apparently. I haven\'t had time to do anything yet except look around...too busy with the recent \"developments\" in Planeshift.  :]

Note: It turned out that I had a serial number from way back when. I just never used it. Talking to Cyrandir jogged my memory. For those waiting, don\'t give up hope yet, the Lineage II forum mods say the company is still issuing serial numbers. Whatever a forum mod says should automatically be taken as good coin, no?

Check out my \"porno\' Orc character. But, the Dark Elves are much hotter if long, pointy ears do it for you, hahaha.

Off topic: Do any of the big MMORPG\'s have a mating feature? I\'d be surprised if they did, seems like such a thing would be attacked by parents. Mass slaughtering with axes and swords is ok, though. What!!

I agree. Only problem about Sacred is playing online, it\'s hard to find a game where you can actually do the quests. But it\'s a great game.
