Actually I would say its more of tradition then a concern! My great grandpa was in the british navy because thats where he originated, my grandpa was in the Canadian sailor in ww2 and my real dad not my step dad entered the reserve and ended up doing a bit of water works. I probally won\'t join in on that unless my country REALLY needs me lol!

Cremated and my ashes spread out over the ocean. Always had a deep fascination with the ocean. That and rotting in the ground just doesnt seem appealing to me.

When I die I want to be put atop a large rolling hill overlooking the sea and too the other side there would be a small village or something. But not buried, I want to be put in a crypt. The crypt wouldn\'t be too big, just big enough for my body. And on the crypt I would want some like really beautiful epitaph

I would like to be buried, but without a coffin. I would like to decompose, turn into soil, and become one witht he earth.

Bah, that\'s just about what I was going to say!

Like, Elegrand, I too would want to be buried without coffin; however, to expand on that, I would like no monument other than a tree planted at the site of my burial.
As for the location, I\'m not sure... Perhaps some lonely, secluded place where trees are a rarity...

I want a taxidermist to stuff my body and to pose my corpse like Robert DeNiro from Taxi Driver (with a pistol in each hand and a crazy look in my eye).  Then i want to be placed in the living room of my first born child so i can haunt people until the end of time, or they can use me as a really cool coat rack :P

I really don\'t care, Ill be dead at that time I hope :D

I heard a very interesting story once, a guy wanted his ashes mixed with gasoline, put in a car, so the exhast would mix with the air, carry him to the sky where he would be a part of clouds, then rain down all over the earth...yup, maybe thats what I want :D

lol that would be awesome, especially if you had that done to your greatest enemy oh the sweet sweet victory! Kind of like what they did on that movie \"The Pest\" The rich german hunted the different races of the world and hung there heads on plaques like they do to animals!

I second that. Heck, if they get advanced enough to be able to upload human consciousness - why not pass it on into a clone of yourself or into a machine? Or simply back yourself up  ;) .

You mean the method of a german? Where you get plastified to be exposed in a sort of museum with sometimes you\'re internal organs exposed?

I for one thing intend to live forever. If i do die i want to haunt a castle scaring the hell out of visitors.
