planeshift hits the big time

well maybe not quite, but i was reading this months PCGAMER (April 2004 Issue 134) and theres a little bit on Planeshift on page 111 :) not much but thought that it was cool it was being mentioned.

the last line say \"Due for a big update any time now\", lol that made me laugh ;)

u can quote 800 words and up to three pictures from any large works if the source is stated.
checked but cant find nothing on PC gamers website or anything.
Ill buy it tomorrow and scan if you cant get it scanned.

Wow! An Open-Source and free project in a famous magazine! They write about all possible crap, like games that get 1 out of 100, but never about good free stuff.
Oh wait... there isnt much good free stuff besides Planeshift!
Unluckliy i cant buy this mgazine, i would if i could, but here it costs like 16 or 17 euro...  :(

Planeshift first appeared in the pages of PCgamer way back in 2001, before we even had Atomic Blue. I\'ll have to see if I can dig out the tiny article for you sometime ;)

EDIT: Wait a minute, that\'s me in the article screenie! Hehe, yay! Fame at last, I\'m in an international magazine. Shouldn\'t I get some kind of commission from the mag for that? ;) :P

Against all odds I have managed to track down the PC Gamer article from 2001, with it\'s pre-AB screen shot containing the old skin for the Stonebreaker Dwarf.

Sorry for the very poor quality, my scanner is acting up, so I had to try to take a blurry photo instead :rolleyes:
