All the crystal art that was up before was killing the server and the people tryin to log in. The crystal art was nice but I prefer being able to log in :P

1. anyone that logged out near it couldnt log back in, but people in the dungeons could.

2. new characters couldnt log in. again, they appear in the plaza wich was full of crystal art.

3. i couldnt log in for an entire day, then nil took down the crystal art and i havent had any problems since.


Sounds like it was the crystal art to me :P

Well as stated in the forum below, that was related to the day no one could log on, you can see that because of the massive amount of crystals cause those that were in the area of the crystals it caused them to not load. I do not know the technical problems to why this has happened, it showed that anyone that was near them couldnt log on.

Nilaya made a nice post in the XG forums about this. To summarize:

Crystals are objects, chars are objects. MB probebly can\'t support over a certain amount of objects, so it went frenzy when there were so many more than it can hold.
