Race change request

Has anybody else noticed the problem with the Kran race? Maybe people from other nations wouldn\'t be so quick to notice, but I live in the USA, and I have a real problem with a race of tall, pale-colored, pointy-headed creatures called the Kran. For reference, take a look here: http:// http://www.kraxton.com/images/oxford.jpg .

I am seriously recommending to the developers that we change the name of this race to something else; preferrably something that does not begin with the letter \"K.\" Here are a few of my own suggestions (feel free to suggest some of your own):

*Dolomite
*Granidian
*Slagg

Heh...I almost suggested \"Bouldarian,\" but that sounds and looks too much like \"bold aryan.\"

I dunno... they are multicolored, and sexless... live underground... nope, not much like any groups I know. If it was a guild or something, maybe, but people aren\'t choicing it based on a set of values.

anyhoo, i never thought that the Kran looked like KKK ...the KKK looked more like monks to me usually ...and i don\'t see monks banned in the US (let alone in other places of the world, just because some idiots in america decided to take similar clothes and be total asses to non-white inhabitants)

...so if there was a vote: i\'d definetly say \"hell, no!\"


...oh, just to be sure:
- hairy cat-human crossovers don\'t bother you
- scaley dragon-human crossovers don\'t bother you
- midgets, whose wives wear long beards don\'t bother you
- pale alien-looking guys with fins don\'t bother you
- a race that sounds and looks a bit like the Devil, doesn\'t bother you
- but for some wierd reason, a golem-ish creature bothers you, because they have pointy heads?!? O_o

 ...i remember this stupid hollywood movie once, where some strangely human-like, but pointy-headed friendly aliens went to earth, and i don\'t recall anyone to bitching about their pointy heads making him think about the KKK

another thing that freaks me out is why these idiots (=KKK)
1) still exist (AFAIK)
2) and if they don\'t, why are you guys still afraid of them?

but i didn\'t know i\'m, or anyone else is when we\'re at it, a KKK supporter just because a sylicone-based humanesque race doesn\'t remind me of the KKK.

Well, I suppose you could argue that it leads nowhere (obviously, for you did)...but I would hope that everyone would try to be socially, culturally, and ethnically conscious. In a perfect world, I suppose they would.

Personally, if I were a black person, I would be offended by it even more than I already am. What happens when the developers start to introduce PC clothing? A Kran puts on a white robe, and what do you have? A walking, moving, playable image of a KKK member.

Throw in some burnable crosses and some nooses while you\'re at it. Let\'s go for that total immersion everyone is always talking about.
