Howdy,

I did a search for \'prospecting\' and only had two hits.  Neither one related how this works in game.  I\'ve tried it several times and once I was told there was a resource, but it was gone now.

Does this help us find hidden resources or is the radar just as good as using this skill?

There are no hidden resources in this version. If you mean how we find crystals, we run around until we see a crystal, and take it.

hmmm i just realized how very wierd it is that we have to run around to find crystals shouldnt there be a mining skil such that you have a percentage of chance to get a cyrstal and such but have it so it only works in certain areas such as the caves. it would make for great story plot as well as patches and new areas come out telling a story that as someone was mining the cracked open a passage way to a new area.  :D

the crystals were just put in the game for players to have something to do.. this is, afterall, just a tech-demo..

Molecular Blue is just the tech demo. So as such, a mining skill would be rather pointless and time-consuming.

All work has stopped on MB. The current work is on Crystal Blue, Planeshift\'s next release. In CB, there are going to be many things, although I am not sure if the mining skill is one of them.

P.S. Do not hold your breath for CB.
