Board Moderators.

Hi planeshifters,
I read a lot of messages about moderators on this board, and so I started to act.

As you know Vengeance is a new moderator here, and I will monitor the board also.

Surely we need people that do this job only and that\'s the purpose of the PR Team in our organization. After the demo we will have a reorganization and new mods will be assigned. For now we are too busy realeasing.

I have already blocked some days ago one user for spamming. I have blocked another one today. We don\'t want such users in the board nor in the game.

Hope this will help making the boards more clean.

If you feel that a msg must be removed, send a PersonalMessage to me or to Vengeance.

Thankyou Talad for doing this.  I realize I could have been causing some problems on the boards, so I am going to restrain myself on my comments more, I ask all members of the Charmed Knights to do this also.

hmm.. sorry but dont take this as an offence..
but for private threads you\'ve got your own message boards... on this board anybody may post in any thread.. so if somebody wants to post his link in your thread, then he may do that..
but agian: dont take this as an offensive reply against you or your clan or whateffah..

Here are the basic (informal) rules I follow.  I welcome reactions to these if people have others or want to comment on mine.

1. Obvious guild spamming is deleted.  It will just escalate and take over the boards.

2. Flaming or name calling of another person is deleted.  It will just escalate and take over the boards.

3. Cuss words that seem \"excessive\" and which are not bleeped out are rephrased or bleeped out.  Kids read these boards too.  (Yes I know you know all the cuss words too, but that doesn\'t mean the boards have to be full of them to let everyone prove it.)

4. Very off topic things like political debates are deleted.

5.  Recruiting or advertising for other games is deleted.

Basically, my goal is to keep the boards clean and to keep them basically discussing Planeshift, answering questions, throwing out ideas, or whatever.  I am not trying to make them efficient, delete IM-style chatter, or eliminate repeat posts.  That stuff just doesn\'t bother me personally too much.
