Character/Item Wipe on CB?
« on: May 04, 2004, 07:32:11 pm »
Are the developers planning on a character/item wipe when they release cb? Is it even worth it to try and obtain the rare sword or 5 diamond mug.

(btw 5 diamonds for a mug?!?! highway robbery)

From what ive read(someone correct me if im wrong). When, or shortly before, CB is released there will be a webform to fill out that lets you reserve your name, crystal count, and guild. Weapons will not be transfered but you can sell them back for crystals. Crystals will then be transfered into tria.

Items will be cheaper in CB. ie. 350 tria for a good steel sword i think it was. Right now items are just status symbols and decorative trinkets. They serve no purpose, and you dont -need- them.

I think Elkindel read correctly but we won\'t know until CB comes out, right?

Anyway, yes. This question has been asked before. A little search would have gone a long way ;)

Ok, believe Caldazar instead of a dev.  Your choice.
