I love the blade although I think it would look cool if the crystal protruding down past the handle was inverted so it acted as a hand guard that is capable of catching another blade.

Excuse the low qual image.

You dont have to disagree.

Imagine the sword that has been posted but in the style I have mentioned. Try not to associate my image with the finished product to much. My example was a bit to extreme. I just exagerated it so people would get what I meant easily. I still think it would look cool if the handle end was inverted. Not to the degree in my sketch though.

only thing you could do with it is stab something, but that would be hard too... it wouldn\'t pass armour... \'tis too... roundy...
and even if you\'d somehow manage to stab someone, it\'s shaped the way that getting the sword out of body would be hard as well and would give enough time for someone else to put you to rest...
not to mention the spikes at hilt that would hurt wielder.
none the less... I want an Emerald Sword ;)

Yeah, I think this sword would be better used in a sci-fi game... It just isn;t practicle at all. Even the materials..a crystal sword? It wouldn\'t break, thats for sure, but think of the cost! IRL, a little diamond on a ring costs hundreds of $$$, how many of those diamonds would be required to make a sword? OK, I know there are cheaper crystals, but still, a sword like that IRL would cost...millions

LOL costs millions.

*RPG*, *fantasy world*.

The shape looks more triangular to me. Which would infact give it 3 cutting sides. The jagged edges also start just above half way. So as long as the sword wasnt pushed to the hilt it wouldnt be to hard to withdraw it from the person you impailed.
