I was refering to hack-n-slashers in general. Yes I know there are exceptions, there always is, but in this game, RPing is strongly encouraged. If you and your friends want to go play a boring ol\' \"kill and get exp, repeat\" game..then I think Planeshift is not the game for you...

I think they are going to make the game so it appeals to rp more then the other sorta player, so thows sort that would do that would just get uninteresting & go?

We don?t have to worry about it? Usually people who are looking for swordfights would not play a Chinese Street-Racing Game for that long if there wasn?t allot of sword fights in it. But the may get addicted to street-Racing Games?

sorry, it\'s just that stereotyping people pisses me off, and when you say that all hack ans slashers are idiots, it makes me just a little upset. I mean, god, I\'m a tabletopper, and I\'ve lived with the stereotype that all tabletoppers are devil worshippers, I was fat as a child, and lived with the stereotype that all fat kids are lazy, and a bunch of other stuff you prolly wouldn\'t understand. hell, I even went through a few years in jr. high when all the black kids thought I was racist because I was white!

stereotyping is just wrong man. and I\'d appreciate it if I didn\'t see any more comments like that!

If the hack-n-slasher does not do what a hack-n-slasher does, then he does not fit that stereo-type & is not a true hack-n-slasher, I get stario typed all the time, I don?t get mad about it but I?m sure just about anyone had problem or is having problems anyways, I realy forgot my point so I?ll just say, I hate that many people accuses white people of being racist as a stereo type, that doesn?t mean I want to be a hack-n-slasher?

?( Now I am confused @ what any of this has to do with the next release of PS? ? I really hope that it will come out soon & I can help make it happen!

Edit: Oh ya, & I believe that people that assume other people are racist & so they avoid them without actually finding out for themselves are raciest themselves,

That\'s interesting Tygerwilde. I suppose I could see the attraction to play in such a way. Doesn\'t it get boring though? The game just becomes a chatroom. With monsters. Maybe it\'s just me though.

Now, imagine RPing. Fully immersing yourself into a game, you can forget RL for a few hours and actually become someone else, walking around and interacting inside a giant Stalgtite.

I\'ve thought of something. Why not RP as if your characters came through a portal from a world very much like our own?

Like instead of just spawning into the world in the middles of the town, there should be a portal like the one described in the history section of settings on the website. So instead of a Person just showing up, they can be treated as newcomers to this world. That would be better for new people, will be asked if they would like to learn something about the new world. Also we can have deferent portals for different races in different places etc.

hmm most of the time i rp and really get into the game and stuff :p but sometimes i do some hack and slash.
i don\'t think we should kick people who hack and slash, if they want to hack and slash let them they don\'t do anything wrong in the end. but still i hope there will be alot of rp\'ing in planeshift.

As far as language goes I dont think it should be censored. People play the way they want to. I think there are going to be separate channels for non ic chat anyway so dont worry about it. Sides its just a game...
