last a couple of weeks ago, I dropped by Electronics boutique and bought myself a copy of Final Fantasy IX. I got home with it, and popped it in...
I got a message that said \"please insert playstation or playstation2 format disk
I tried resetting, like five times, finally it worked. I got through the first fight, and as soon as that was over Bam, out of nowhere the game freezes up...
ok so I called the store, and they said they\'d replace it. No problem right...
So the next day, I walk the five miles to the mall, and give them the old copy...
they tell me they\'ll put me on a reserve list for the next copy that comes in...
I walk home...
two weeks later, on thursday, I get a call saying they got a copy in... I walk the five miles to the mall and get a ride home from someone I know.
I\'m home, I\'ve spent two days playing and then last night. 11 at night. \"insert disk two\" loading. the screen remains black for at least a half hour when I give up. restart the computer, load my game.
I\'ve tried everything, but the disk is dead.
now, think, i\'ve had to walk a total of twenty five miles for this game. this is the second failure I\'ve had with Electronic Boutique. guess what, I\'ve only bought one game from them in my life. that\'s twice as many failures as I\'ve even had dealings with them.
if you can\'t tell I\'m a little frustrated right now.
