Real Life Jobs
« on: May 16, 2004, 02:42:49 am »
I\'m just sitting here thinking what you all do for work? Do you guys have jobs, go to school, millionares that spend all day on computer? Would be interesting to hear what you do for work and what not :)

Me I\'m 18 graduating in 3 weeks or so and I currently work as a part time shift manager at Co-op C-Store a full serve gas station/ and propane supplier.

I\'m a University student taking Chemical Engineering.  Last semester I was working in the department as a research assistant, doing a bunch of different measurements and experiments.  My last month working there involved using lasers :D.  Just started up this new semester so im back to learning stuff again.

Edit: Cool Kintall 8) Your student paper looks a heck of a lot better than ours :)

I work at my parents\' (gah) photolab.
The job isn\'t that bad, except for the customers, of course.
Sometimes they just bitch around, sometimes they give films that are hard to print, sometimes they argue and think they know better than me about photography (annoying, but very satisfying when they realize they\'re stupid and shouldn\'t argue with a professional about something they clearly know nothing about :P).

The two best things about this job are:
* Porn (no need to explain, right?)
* Tons of bleach >: )

I\'ve got two years to go before my graduation, after that I will take a year of to serve/travel/earn some cash. Then, it\'s back to school for me. =/
Browsing the forums when I\'m bored, nothing more.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Mmm after graduation I am suppose to go to the big city and live with my dad but nothings been written in stone yet...My step brother produces commericals and what not for CTV (Its basicly the channel most canadians watch for news and local programming but is pretty big!) So I could probally get on the sets and pull some experience from there! I would love to make a movie for the Independant Film Channel!

I normally just leech on the relative wealth of my parents.. No need to take a job..  And oh yea, I also leech on the state too, they have this nifty idea of supplying us young people with enough money to go buy tons of beers every month (although they\'ve named it educational support, education\'s not exactly what I use it for.. :P)
